Creative Curtain Rod

Yesterday I shared a few creative ways on how to hang your curtains. I have one more to share with you! I’ve been following Sausha’s blog for quite a while now and let me just tell you…. she is one creative cookie!  She just painted some curtains for her son’s room that are dang cute! Check it out…..

I love those thick, bold, orange stripes against the dark blue walls! Did you spot how she hung those bad boys? Lets look a little closer…..

You got it….. galvanized pipe people! So creative right! If you want some bold orange striped curtains check out her tutorial for some good tips and instructions.

I had the privilege to work with Sausha on the Parade Home that I decorated during the Summer.  The budget was really tight and I still needed a lot of furniture so I called on Sausha to stage one of the spare bedrooms for me. You can check out the awesome craft hutch she made here and here. She is AMAZING at refinishing furniture and has a for that also!

Tomorrow I will share my favorite places to shop for curtains & fabric!

Children’s Art

Today was the first day of school. My sweet little boy is in preschool this year! This is his second year and he was VERY excited to go back. I love when such simple things make your day and today my sweet boy drew his very own “Marvin the Monkey” in class! I couldn’t stop thinking about that cute monkey all day. Introducing Mr. Marvin the Monkey……
Pretty good for a 4 Year old don’t ya think? What do you do with all children’s art? I’ve thought about making a art collage in his bedroom with his own pictures. Here are a few inspirational ideas:
