West Elm Wednesday ~ Kantha Line

OH MY OH MY OH MY do I have news for you. West Elm is opening a store in the SLC area at our new City Creek Center! Holla… my husband is so excited I cant wait :) Don’t you fret though I will still gladly share my West Elm faves with you every Wednesday (almost every Wednesday, at least on the weeks that I don’t forget!).

I LOVE almost every single pillow from West Elm but I’ve really been crushing on their Kantha line. I love that each pillow is unique! This is what West Elm has to say about the Kantha pillow, “Pieced and patched. Hand embellished with strips of Kantha fabric. Because every pillow cover is composed of recycled materials, each is subtly one of a kind.”

I love them all!

Kantha Chevron Pillow Cover

Kantha Quilted Pillow Cover

Kantha Jaipur Stripe Pillow Cover

All of these beautiful pillows are 20″ and range from $29 – $34. West Elm use to have a Kantha throw that was awesome! I’ve spotted a few of the throws at my local DownEast Outfitters for an awesome price.

West Elm Wednesday {Rugs}

Today I’ve got my eye on West Elm’s awesome rug selection! They have a wide variety of colors, styles, and sizes. I wouldn’t mine owning a few!

If your looking for color and pattern the Zigzag Rug is lovely.

I’m a sucker for a good navy blue and white rug and the Kite Kilim Rug would look awesome in my living room!

I love this Lourdes Sanchez Bull’s-Eye Rug. I would put it in a colorful library/office, playroom, or little kids room!

You can’t go wrong with the Gradiated-Stripe Cotton Rug. That orange one holds my heart.

If your looking for a more neutral rug the Jute Chenille Herringbone and the Oasis Flatweave Rug are great choices!

I would love one of each!

West Elm Wednesday

I have a confession….. I’m really obsessed with West Elm. If I could afford it my entire house would be furnished and decorated with West Elm products! This is easily my favorite site to “window shop” on. I get sucked in for hours I tell ya! To appease my little obsession, every Wednesday I’m going to share a few West Elm items with you that I LOVE. So lets get started already….

Right now I’ve really got my eye on their dishware. My dishes at home are cracked and outdated and frankly just not as pretty to look at. If I could choose some new dishes I would have a hard time choosing between all these

I also love these cute bowls

and these mugs

I could always use new kitchen linens and these would definitely put me in the mood to bake up some yummy treats!

I think this is a great way for me to “vent” my West Elm obsession! I hope you enjoy :)

P.S. to all of my loved ones reading…. a West Elm gift card is always accepted with great appreciation ha ha joking… but not really!

Kitchen Design

Why is it when I’m in the middle of a re-design I find a bunch of really awesome things that I want for another room? Does this happen to anyone else? I always have this awesome vision for my room, and then when I finally start working on it, I kinda loose it and get inspirational OVERWHELM for a different room. So weird! Yes, I’m still working and going strong on my master bedroom, but I can’t stop thinking about my darn kitchen. Let me just show ya a few of the things that have distracted me lately…..

This industrial pendant light from Home Depot caught my eye especially at a price of $24.88.

I found these lovely chairs on Overstock a few months ago.  I was searching for them to put this post together and they dont have them in my color anymore! EEEK I totally should have impulse bought them…. now I kinda regret it. These are the same chairs but the ones I liked matched the pendant light above. These are an AWESOME deal at $157.49 for four of them.

No worries I found a few alternatives that I think I might like even better. I like these for the end of the table at $150 for two.

and these for the sides of the table at $118.84 for two. They are more expensive than my industrial metal chairs but they are lovely!

Ikea has a few kitchen islands that I’m totally in LOVE with.

I really like this style at $199. I would paint the legs/bottom white and stain the top a dark walnut.

While I’m on this inspirational picture sharing kick…. I might just have a new little idea up my sleeve for my accent wall. Brooke at All Things Thrifty is adding a faux brick accent area in her home right now. I’m waiting for her reveal and tutorial to see how it turns out ;) I repined a few of her inspiration pictures on

Phew! I feel better… now I better go get some work done in my bedroom!
