Now that my tree has been finished for a few weeks I finally decided I should put up the rest of the Christmas decor. While I was pulling all of my stuff out I really decided I was slacking in the Christmas section. Ah well… I made due with what I had. I’ve been switching out the decor on my faux beam shelf and it’s been really fun! I’m not sure what I will do with it when the holidays are over. Here are a few pictures of the “Christmas Beam”.
I really need to add something to my wall space under my shelf and I’ve had my eye on these paintings from Ballard.
At a lovely $299 a piece they might have to become a DIY project after the holidays. I’m still brainstorming though :)
My rustic ladder looked a little lonely in the corner so I draped the long stocking over it to give it some Christmas bling.
So, do you have all of your Christmas up and ready? I know some people put there tree up on Christmas Eve as a tradition. That would be a fun tradition but I really love savoring the warm glow from the lights for as long as possible!

Thanks Natalie! You are too sweet :)
So pretty, Erin! I love how it all looks on your gorgeous shelf! The Believe blocks are so sweet. And the stocking hanging is my favorite!
Thanks Lindsay :) Love your kind comments!
Everything is set up so perfectly! I love it all! The muted tones all compliment each other and you have a great collection of unique pieces mixed in with traditional! I wish we could go shopping together!

Thanks Aimee :) Shopping would be a blast! I know I already left a comment for you but I really LOVE your beautiful fireplace :)
LOVE the ladder with the stocking, and I’m a big fan of the holiday/seasonal shelf. I love to put up my tree early too but we’ve been so late for the past 2 years, but at least this year it is now sitting in a corner, waiting to be decorated this weekend. I can’t wait, we’re making it a party (I put some of the recipes on my site tonight).
Thanks Lori :) Have fun decorating your tree! I’ll have to try some of your recipe ideas! Those cookies sound tasty :)
